On Oct 11, 2024: Dispose of a retired person’s belongings

I went to the another location office of my belonging company because I had to throw away the trashes and remaining things for already retired person. The person retired on end of March because of the laid-off from the company. I think he should have thrown away his belongings, but did not that. If I will quit the company, I will sort out my things so as not to affect to remained person in the company.

Corrected 1:

I took a business trip to an office in a suburb of Tokyo  to throw away the trash and remaining things of an already retired person.

The person retired at the end of March after being laid-off from the company.

I think he should have thrown away his belongings, but he did not .

If I  quit the company, I will sort out my trash so as not to affect the people remaining in the company.

Corrected 2:

On October 11, 2024, I had to dispose of a retired person’s belongings.

I went on a business trip to the office in the suburbs of Tokyo to throw away the trash and remaining items of someone who had already retired.

The person retired at the end of March due to being laid off by the company.

I think he should have disposed of his belongings himself, but he did not.

If I leave the company, I will make sure to sort out my things so as not to cause trouble for the people who remain.

Here are the specific corrections:

  1. “Oct 11 in 2024, Trash the things of retired person”
    • Corrected to: “On October 11, 2024, I had to dispose of a retired person’s belongings.”
    • “Trash the things” is not clear. “Dispose of a retired person’s belongings” is more accurate.
    • “On October 11, 2024” is a clearer date format.
  2. “I went to the business trip to the office in the suburb of Tokyo because I had to throw away the trashes and remaining things of already retired person.”
    • Corrected to: “I went on a business trip to the office in the suburbs of Tokyo to throw away the trash and remaining items of someone who had already retired.”
    • “to the business trip” should be “on a business trip.”
    • “suburb” should be “suburbs.”
    • “trashes” is uncountable, so “trash” is the correct form.
    • “remaining things” can be improved to “remaining items.”
    • “already retired person” is awkward, so “someone who had already retired” is clearer.
  3. “The person retired on end of March because of the laid-off from the company.”
    • Corrected to: “The person retired at the end of March due to being laid off by the company.”
    • “on end of March” should be “at the end of March.”
    • “because of the laid-off” is more naturally phrased as “due to being laid off.”
  4. “I think he should have thrown away his belongings, but did not that.”
    • Corrected to: “I think he should have disposed of his belongings himself, but he did not.”
    • “did not that” is grammatically incorrect and should be simplified to “he did not.”
  5. “If I will quit the company, I will sort out my trash so as not to affect to remained person in the company.”
    • Corrected to: “If I ever leave the company, I will make sure to sort out my things so as not to cause trouble for the people who remain.”
    • “If I will quit” should be “If I ever leave” for a more natural expression.
    • “sort out my trash” is changed to “sort out my things” for better clarity.
    • “affect to remained person” should be “cause trouble for the people who remain” for a smoother, more natural expression.
